Aqaba is the only exit, and entrance for Jordan on the sea, therefore it has a tourist and economic importance.
It is also the starting point for Jordan's visitors across the sea to the southern historical, archeological and areas of the Kingdom such as Petra, Wadi Rum, Dana Reserve and other sites where the proximity of these areas and Aqaba encourages the visitor to make the trip, There is also an airport in Aqaba receiving organized flights from Amman and many European cities.
It also plays an important role in the region's economy, as it is a border point with Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt

Aqaba is characterized by a warm climate in the winter, where visitors from Jordan and abroad visit it in this season of the year.
The city is also famous for its beautiful coral, not to mention the diversity of marine animals such as the friendly dolphins, sea turtles living amid dense swarms of rare colored fish Such as crab, lobsters, and prawns, these organisms that appear only at night in search of their food.
During my visit to Aqaba, I found a variety of different services and facilities from restaurants and hotels, they are popular with high quality international standards.
